Privacy Policy

Effective date: 30 August 2026 · Operated by DIGITAL URGENCY PTY LTD (ABN 41 701 663 201 · ACN 701 663 201), Unit 2, 84 Estramina Street, Oxley QLD 4075, Australia.

Who we are and what this covers

DIGITAL URGENCY PTY LTD ("Digital Urgency", "we", "us") operates OpenSEO, the platform we offer to customers as DigitalUrgency SEO OS. OpenSEO is a multi-tenant business platform that includes SEO tools, a CRM, WhatsApp messaging, integrations, analytics, leads, contacts, products, inventory and order management. This policy explains what information we collect through OpenSEO and this website, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.

If you want information deleted, our Data Deletion Instructions explain exactly how to ask and what happens next.

Information we collect

Account and business information. When you create an account or are invited into an organisation we collect names, email addresses, organisation details, staff roles and permissions, and login records such as sign-in times and the method used.

Customer and CRM information. Organisations using OpenSEO ("tenants") may store records about their own customers and prospects, including contacts, leads, companies, enquiries, meetings and notes. We process this information on the tenant's behalf to provide the service.

Commerce information. Tenants may manage products, inventory, orders and order requests in OpenSEO, and we process those records to provide those features.

WhatsApp Cloud API information. When a tenant connects WhatsApp through Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API, we process business phone-number identifiers, WhatsApp Business Account identifiers, customer phone numbers, profile names, message content, timestamps, delivery statuses and message identifiers, so that conversations can be sent, received and shown to the right organisation.

Connected-service information. Tenants can connect services such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, WooCommerce and Shopify. When a tenant enables an integration, we process the data that integration needs — for example search performance data, analytics data or store orders.

Authentication. Sign-in is by email and password or a supported identity provider. We store what is needed to authenticate you and keep the account secure.

Why we use information

  • Providing and operating the service, including routing messages and data to the correct tenant
  • Authenticating users and protecting accounts and the platform from abuse
  • Customer support
  • Understanding usage so we can maintain and improve the product
  • Meeting legal obligations

How tenants are kept separate

OpenSEO is multi-tenant. Each tenant's data is separated by organisation and project identifiers, and one customer's data is not intended to be visible to another customer. WhatsApp access tokens and other supported connection credentials are encrypted at rest and are not returned to the browser after they are stored.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information.

We use service providers to run OpenSEO, in categories including hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics, authentication, AI processing and communications. These currently include Railway (hosting), Neon (database) and Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API), alongside providers in the other categories above. Service providers process data to provide their service to us; each also has its own privacy practices.

Because our infrastructure and service providers operate in multiple countries, information may be processed outside Australia.

Retention

How long we keep information depends on what the account needs in order to work, our contractual obligations, security needs and legal obligations. When information is no longer needed for those purposes we delete or de-identify it. See the Data Deletion Instructions for how to ask for deletion sooner.

Your choices and rights

Users and businesses may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their information by contacting us at sales@digitalurgency.com.au. The Data Deletion Instructions describe the deletion process in detail.

Tenant responsibilities

Customers are responsible for having a lawful basis to upload contacts to OpenSEO and to communicate with people through WhatsApp. WhatsApp marketing messages require appropriate consent from the recipient and must follow Meta's policies, including the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encryption of stored connection credentials. No system is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security.

Children

OpenSEO is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and complaints

When this policy changes we will update this page and its effective date; material changes will be flagged in the product or by email. Questions or complaints can be sent to sales@digitalurgency.com.au, and we will respond. If you are in Australia and are unhappy with our response, you may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
